Use and Maintain  
DOs and DON'Ts

Wear correctly

  • Sit in front of table first few times, prevent dropping and damaging hearing aids 

  • Follow wear directions 

Check for stuck eartips

  • In earcanal, after you have removed hearing aids

  • In hats, scarves, towels, face wipes

Give adjustment time

  • For brain to get familiar with hearing aid generated sounds

  • For ears to get familiar with hearing aid presence

  • For you to get used to hearing aids inside and outside the house (Learn more in 'Improve Hearing Health') ​

Clean regularly

  • After each use

  • With provided accessories like multifunctional brush, cleaning brush, cleaning cloth​

Store properly

  • In provided charger (ATLAS PICO) or storage case (ROSA)

  • Keep in cool, dry place

  • Away from reach of small children, pets

Protect from Noise​

  • Follow Safe Listen guides

  • Carry earplugs in provided storage case when going out  

  • Clean earplugs with soap and water after each use

Have extra supplies​

  • Eartips (replace quarterly)

  • Extra battery in storage case when going out (ROSA)

  • Eartubes (PICO - replace quarterly)​​​

Keep away from heat, moisture

  • Direct sunlight

  • Hot car

  • Hair dryer

  • Bathroom storage

Keep away from water, liquids, sprays

  • Shower

  • Excess sweat

  • Rain

  • Swimming pool

  • Hair sprays

  • Lotion, Sunscreen

  • Soap, any kind of cleaning solution

Don't wear in certain places

  • Noisy, including using hair dryer

  • Windy

  • Very hot

  • Before MRI, CT or any other electromagnetic procedures

Other Don'ts

  • Inappropriate storing (towel, pockets)

  • Modifying hearing aid in any way

  • Sharing with others​
